Gaavala was born out of frustration. We experienced firsthand how much productive time is lost when meeting participants don't share a common language. Enterprise solutions existed but required lengthy procurement processes, five-figure annual contracts, and deep IT integrations. We believed this problem deserved a better answer.
Gaavala is built and led by Hasan Çelebi, its founder. "I started Gaavala after one too many meetings where a language gap quietly shut capable people out of the conversation," he says. "The product's priorities are my priorities: real-time meeting translation that is private by default, honest about what AI can and cannot do, and affordable for individuals and small teams — not just enterprises with five-figure budgets." Hasan is based in Istanbul and can be reached at support@gaavala.com.
